Qumiralen began with four crystal spheres, a missing fifth, and a small coincidence that stayed with me.

It wasn't a business plan or a search for inspiration. It was an ordinary experience that gradually changed the way I looked at crystals — and eventually became the starting point for this brand.

How It Started

A few years ago, I attended a company promotional event and noticed a row of crystal spheres on display. They caught my eye immediately. I loved their clarity, their simple beauty, and the way they looked together.

The price seemed reasonable, so I decided to come back the next day.

When I returned, only four spheres were left. I bought all four and brought them home, arranging them together in the center of the house.

For the next two years, they stayed there — a small part of our home and everyday life.

I didn't know then that a fifth sphere would eventually become part of their story.

The One That Went Missing

Two years later, my family and I took a trip and stayed at a hot spring hotel. I brought the crystal spheres with me, intending to give them a little care and cleansing.

When I got home, something felt off. I had the persistent feeling that one sphere was missing.

I checked, counted, and searched. I even contacted the hotel, but the staff hadn't found anything.

The missing sphere never turned up.

Still, the feeling stayed with me. I couldn't quite put it out of my mind.

Then, one day, I met an old friend. As we talked, I suddenly remembered something: she had bought the fifth sphere from that same display around the time I bought the other four.

I asked her about it, and the pieces of the story finally came together.

The fifth sphere had been with her all along.

What had felt like a missing piece had found its place in the story after all.

A Different Way of Seeing Crystals

I can't explain why this small coincidence stayed with me for so long. Maybe it was the surprise of remembering that fifth sphere. Maybe it was the simple pleasure of reconnecting with a part of the story I had forgotten.

Whatever the reason, the experience changed the way I thought about crystals.

They were no longer just beautiful objects to me. They became reminders of the stories we attach to the things we keep — the people we meet, the moments we remember, and the connections that matter to us.
